TEXTURE

The project is trying to control digital manipulation with constraints from the real world. It starts from a contoured cylinder physical model. Due to its transparency on specific angles, it can pick up the texture from the physical environment, namely the bricks and concrete texture, and spread it on the scanned mesh. These textures will be inputted in the shader field in cinema 4D to control the inflation of the scanned mesh. In other words, the texture from the physical influenced the digital manipulation. The scanning, inflatting, contouring, and scanning process are repeated several times, resulting in a geometry that is not expected from a cylinder and inflation process.
